Holy crap congrats! That has to be a record as the stars aligned perfectly for you. From order to shipping in like 29 days? I've spent a week longer than that just in D1 lol.

That is awesome. Who would have thought that a fictional meth kingpin would be so popular.

Looks to me that you are just North of Houston. Wonder how long it will take to get from the train yard to the dealer. Please post reports on how you like the new Jeep.

Re: 2014 diesel production

So how many of the original orders from August havent gone KZ?

I know I am one, and I think I may be near the end of my journey...i know where I can get a Q5 with a couple of knicks.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Still waiting to be loaded on a train. Severe type A personality (career military); patience is not my forte.

Spousal unit (type B) says this has been a good training experience for me.

Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

If it weren't for Will, Milous, and Chev, I'd have no clue what was going on. My dealer can't provide me with up to date information. IMO, Chrysler would be wise to take a hint from this forum so far as PR is concerned. Having the best SUV available is meaningless if you don't keep your customers informed. VOTS is a great idea in theory, but pales in comparison to MOTS.
Can't talk to the first part of it (but agreed in principle). As for the second VOTS was started with an off the cuff remark during a meeting if I remember correctly. It's an official project but not everyone has bought into the idea of it yet (notably because of things like this and the general issues that pop up during production). Acceptance is slowly happening and as that happens, it gets better. Like I've been alluding to, it will get better soon by providing much of the same data that MOTS is (albeit still not as fast as MOTS). I'd honestly love to put MOTS out of business as that means we're "doing it right". But that won't happen until people see the value in the program and that takes time.

I feel like there is an inordinate number of pilots in this forum waiting for diesels (pictures of a BUF, Bone, 60, Bonanza, AF wings, etc). I'm assuming the connection is fuel awareness and an obsession with extended range?

Us pilots know a good thing when we see it.
