More just a location update. Looks to be rail car bound tomorrow or Sunday.

I'd be very grateful for any additional information on this. BTW. I happen to know that a Dealer Stock unit is available at Fairview Chrysler in Burlington, JGC Summit 4x4 CRD, White over Black in case anyone is interested...
Vaughan Chrysler just got a white Overland diesel in day before yesterday.

I posted a very brief impression on the diesel owner page. And some pictures. After I take it through some daily driving and get the feel I will do a more in depth review. Feel free to ask any specific questions nagging you.

Though it's been a long wait the diesel is well worth it. I don't think I stopped smiling the entire drive home. Even bumper to bumper traffic on I-75 didn't stop me. The blind spot monitors are nice in that btw.

Flowers are a good idea. I am taking my girlfriend out for a drink and to watch the Wings game.

Great Jeep JNAP!

Does it matter if we ask in the forum vs. a PM? Are you able to be more candid in a PM? I guess the frustrations expressed in my earlier posts weren't phrased in the form of a question... so can you please check on the status/delivery estimate of my Limited CRD that was ordered on 08/15/2013, D1'd on 08/30/2013, KZ'd on 10/25/2013 but for some unknown reason is still somewhere in the Detroit area?

Thanks!

Just had to rent ANOTHER car yesterday that cost me almost $100. This is getting really old, really quick.

On the new Ecodiesel 3.0 thread for owners Mazster43 just received what you're waiting on; a Graphite, with indigo/brn interior. Well you know it's coming. I was told by a very good source most of the people to the far west would get there unicorns close to the middle of November about the second week. Good luck with your's.

doesn't matter much. If there is something that cannot be openly shared for whatever reason I just put that part in a PM.

Yours is Moving. It was sent to that CN Yard to be loaded to rail. It may not look like much but that yard is not somewhere it can sit for longer than a day or so. It will VERY likely go on a train this weekend, next stop Salem IL.

Typically 1-7 days. It varies widely.

Yours does look to be departing this weekend though.

Acceptance is slowly happening and as that happens, it gets better. Like I've been alluding to, it will get better soon by providing much of the same data that MOTS is (albeit still not as fast as MOTS). I'd honestly love to put MOTS out of business as that means we're "doing it right". But that won't happen until people see the value in the program and that takes time.
BMW has a system that automatically takes pictures of your vehicle through the production process and emails them to you. That is really taking it to the next step....

Performance, efficiency, range and maybe even being a little different than everyone else. A number of Diesel engine entries have been tried in the general aviation industry, most went by the wayside, some are still trying, but none have really caught on yet. Partly I think is the extra expense and weight.
