Re: 2014 diesel production

A funny note about the ones that got stuck in Louisville. I live on Louisville and that's where mine is coming. BUT NOT BY RAIL, on a truck from Toledo. So, try to figure that out

Awww... see ya Slippery! It was nice sharing a train with ya, even if only for a short time.

I guess the rest of us are settling in for the long haul now. Just remember guys - it can get mighty cold over those Rocky Mountain and Sierra-Nevada peaks - what happens on the train stays on the train! I'm planning a "don't ask don't tell" policy with my SFU.

Well good to know it didn't fall of the rails or anything but kind of surprised we separated so early. Thanks for the update Will, now I guess we'll just have to see if we take different routes through IA...my bet is no.

There is some loading going on today. Milous next update will be pretty soon unless he is offline again but I doubt it.

There is a lot of product that has sat released for a week and there appears to be a lot leaving tomorrow but I will get a better grip on that with the updates this afternoon.

Very happy to report that my SFU is on the move out of Detroit axle to my dealer. Tomorrow's the day!

It's probably not that surprising we separated early even though we're probably going over the same rails. The rest of us are probably being assembled into a large cross-country train whereas you, being much closer could just hop on a short train not headed so far.

I'm trying to resist making a "short bus" joke here ...

Who are these "insiders" expediting things? You guys talking about dealership folks, local reps, or higher ups at Chrysler HQ? Reason I ask is my dealer is supposedly trying to talk to the regional rep to get mine quicker, if possible, but clearly nothing has worked. Been sitting at KZ for almost a week now.

Chiv, can't believe your's hasn't been even KZ'd yet!

Just when I get hope things are moving along the whole process seems to go in slow motion.

Some of the insiders might be Area Managers that cover several states and are on the road a lot having meetings with all of the dealerships in their area. Hmmm!
