Not really...in fact, not at all. I had to turn it off. It butchered up words worse than me; especially technical terms or other words that it didn't know would always come out as something else...even if spelled correctly.

Seattle and San Francisco are, as the bird flies. In fact, pretty much the whole west coast. As the train rolls is another story, though.

Okay, finally some clarity. Delivery to Chicago on rail on the 10th with an 11th delivery. Of course I'm out of town until the 16th so taking it home by the weekend. One week to spare with the drive down to Austin the following week. This was and still is a crazy experience, made bearable by all the JG members and the insight from our Insiders. I really appreciate the info guys. Thanks

If look at trust Goggle Earth, all the major west coast cities are within about 100 miles of each other in total distance from Detroit. at just about 2,000 miles.

Thanks Will, I genuinely do hate to bother you with this. I know this a very busy time for you and was surprised that it was you who answered my post on the uConnect thread. Are you sleeping at all between all this tracking and rides in the new Unicorn?

Regardless, I think we're all getting a more detailed geography lesson as we follow MOTS. Appreciated Nautiboys' Union Pacific route map link, with zoom in feature. Even had bird's eye view of rail yards. Crow flies miles are significantly skewed as our SFUs transit the continent. Am getting a mental picture of hundreds of rainbow colored lines spreading steadily out, terminating all across America in our own pots of gold.

I am always amazed at how far the west coast is from everything else...

I had google earth open and immediately thought of Key West being pretty far too...not even close to as far as the left coast.

I guess I should have known better. I know (and knew before this), I live closer to Honolulu than I do Miami.

Don't forget the car theft capital theft of the nation! Good ol' Modesto...shoot, did I say that out loud? I wish we were known for better things.
