It looks pretty likely that it is loading overnight, and it is staged near the origin yard, so it doesn't need to go anywhere. You rock! I appreciate your taking time to check on this when you would rather be out driving. I may be radio silent for a bit after delivery. Or maybe not... But I'll probably be spending a lot of time in the garage...

Re: 2014 diesel production

Hey all!

Managed to snag a dealer order today, dealer tells me it should be in next week and it's one of the first diesels in NE. My first Jeep, I am excited to say the least!

I traded in my Hummer H3 in May and had the speed itch, ended up with a 2010 Audi S4, that didn't last long Was looking for the perfect replacement for my H3 with the offroad and lux packages, only Jeep could do it 10x better, I will miss those ole 35s though...

Trading her in the for the following:

2014 JGC Overland 4x4 EcoDiesel
ORAII, Advanced Tech Package
Maximum Steel/Black

I posted up my VIN for Milous, can't wait to see if the dealer was BSing me. I did manage to get the vehicle at invoice, not an amazing deal but I am faaaar too impatient to order.

Nice to meet everyone!

We have older dogs, and this is a must. No big ramp to move around and store. Definitely a back saver. ottostep.com
Cool Shannon. I'll check it out. We take our pup with us a lot more since we lost our other dog in August. Just don't have the heart to leave the old man home alone.

I wish.

But at least I am on the train...and I won't believe in the delivery date only when I see the Uni at the dealer!
Great to hear you're ridin' the rails!

The shipping estimates are interesting. Acilate was originally the 11th and I was the 14th, then we were both the 12th, and now he's the 12th and I'm the 13th. Yet we're on the same train and we're headed to the same dealer.

Now whether you'll beat us ... I'd say it's probably unlikely. Comparing our train stops to all of the previous ones, we're in the upper range of speed. We should be pulling in to Ogden, UT right about now. That's the last stop where there's typically any appreciable delays, so if we get out of there in a reasonable amount of time, it should be smooth sailing (knock on a whole bunch of wood!) to Benicia.

If that holds, we should be in Benicia by tomorrow night.

Now that being said, there can be long delays getting unloaded and departed from the yard, so there's a chance you can catch up while we're sitting in the yard. So who knows! I'll certainly be rooting for you to speed on out here as quickly as possible!

I'm confused. Assuming NE is Nebraska and not North East or somesuch, there seems to be a very good chance it'll be there next week ...

Re: 2014 diesel production

New England I live in MA. Just in time for some fun in the snow. It shows estimated delivery as 11/11, I'm going to assume that date is going to get pushed so I don't get my hopes up for delivery next week...

The shipping dates are calculated, in part, by Las Vegas oddsmakers, hence the constant/erratic changes.
