Yup, I can't restate this any harder.
Make SURE you do a full walk around, and check everything on the checklist.
I caught lots of little things (seals not seated right, trim being loose, and a missing security shade(!)).
Your finger tips are your best friend in lots of place. Feel for uneven paint (ripples, bubbles, dust under the pain causing ridges), scratches (happens more often than you may think in transit), and panel gaps (run your finger along the jams, hood/trunk seams, and seals, your finger will tell you instantly if the gap narrows or widens.
I can't recommend enough the checklist that some folks threw together. Lots of little bits in there that you may otherwise not think to look for.
However, expect an annoyed (and/or worried) tone out of your sales rep, and dirty looks from the Service department and Detail shop. When I took delivery of my Durango, I spent an hour and a half going over it inside and out and found lots of little things that the dealer quickly took care of (if only to get me out of the detail bay).
And I can't express this enough, GET A COPY OF THE PDI SHEET. Make sure they have done everything they should (like, I dunno, checked your DEF levels).
