Re: 2014 diesel production

Supplier park is the plant across the street from Toledo North (where the Cherokee is built). Supplier Park builds the Wranglers.

It's fine.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Hope I escape from Detroit North Yard and start heading west by tomorrow. Otherwise, delivery by Thanksgiving is starting to look less and less possible.

TODAY is the day. I plan to head to the dealership in a couple of hours.

I left mine at the dealer most of the week to keep your SFU from getting lonely. Weather looks good for you next week - sunny skies and fall temps - 36/55.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Just talked with my local tire guy and ordered the Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure tires in 265/65r18. With trade in on the Latitudes he wants $451... that includes mount and balance. Seems like a nice fair deal to me...

Awesome. Wife and I just finished planing the trip back. First night in Houston, pick up the Jeep first thing in the morning. Leave Houston, head to New Orleans for a night. Next day, a long drive up to St Louis for a night, then the final night will be in Cedar Rapids since my wife wants to go to the Amana colonies. Next day come back home. Only one long day of driving. Should be a fun mini vacation. Congrats on getting your new Jeep today. You must be very excited. I look forward to seeing you next Wednesday. Have fun today!!!

Sounds like a fun trip. You will be intimate with your new Jeep by the time you get home. BTW, you were fortunate to get a hotel as close to the dealership as you did. We are still trying to find rooms for business colleagues next week; the closest we are now finding is out at the airport. Most of the west side of town is booked solid.

Safe travels, see you next week...

If it sits there past Friday, I would be surprised but at 4-5 days it is simply on the higher side of average right now. It is not presently sitting on a truck, it is in the lot waiting for a truck.
Day 6 of sitting in Hegewisch, IL. Estimated delivery date now 3 days past. To say I'm fed up with this saga is an understatement.
