Re: 2014 diesel production

Will, can you see if my Jeep has reached the end of its train ride yet? Should just about be there already.

Thanks,
SF

Sounds like a great time. Get a new truck and immediately take a trip across country with it. It's almost a shame you can't turn it into a full vacation instead of a mini vacation. Lived in St. Louis for 2 years. If you are going up in the arch, go in early and get your ticket that will give you a time to go up. Then you can wander around and see the sites until your time comes up. "The Hill" has some great Italian restaurants. Of course the whole city has some great culinary experiences.

I don't know how you guys/gals have been able to wait so long... Seeing everyone else's wait times during transit, I'm very afraid of how long my SFU is going to be stuck in train yard Purgatory... And this vehicle won't even be for me... Argh!

Wife better get the job she is trying for so we can go back to commuting together so I can drive/play with the new toy, otherwise I've threatened her that I'm getting one too (and dang her for agreeing - might have to do this wait dance twice!)

Did you try giving the towing company that was posted earlier a call? I havent had time yet. I'm in the same lot but only a day now.

We haven't really been able to wait. I think we have gone off the deep end. Hence the unicorn, SFU, inverted pork rectums....

Chiv, that sounds like a great deal. I went with the same tire, but stuck with the P sized 265/60r18. I didn't see any reason to abandon the stock tire size. However, I think you are gonna get a much burlier tire in the LT size. I imagine this is the tire that would come on a 2014 TrailHawk since the silent armor has been phased out.

I don't think the 265/65R18's are LT rated for the Goodyear's. Have to go 275/65 or 265/70 for LT.

I'm pretty sure the 265/65r18 is a P... you have to specify the pro-grade to get the LT designation and that is not on the description for the 265/65/r18.

The difference is size is only about a inch diameter from the stockers.
