Re: 2014 diesel production

so does anyone know if the truck companies deliver to dealers on the weekends. Mines been sitting at the rail yard in Jessup MD (30 min from me) for a few days now and its driving me crazy. If not delivered by Monday I'll have to rent a car. Any insight is appreciated.

Thank you. With a delivery 3 days earlier than expected I suppose I am lucky. You are also almost there. The final few days. Hang in there.

Thank you Willx, Milous, Chevy and the rest of the inside-gang. You've made this ride an unforgettable one.

The dealer waited for me to come over before touching anything on it. She is a beauty. Still a virgin - covered with road dust and plastics. They let me in to the restricted service area and allowed me to take some initial snaps, smell the sweet interior scent (the dealer said he never had such scent in a jeep), feel the leather without any chemicals and oils. An exhilarating experience. Delivery is tomorrow after PDI and my acceptance inspection. I'll have additional pics and notes tomorrow.
Congrats, looks awesome. I still can't figure out why the Summits have the rectangular exhaust tips, and the overlands have the round tips. I like them both, but I suppose the Summit has to have some differences to make it a Summit. Have fun driving it around. Look forward to your review.

Congrats!

The summit leather smell doesn't go away right away... I have had a few people compliment on that smell.

Diesel Reviews....

Guys, Chevy was good enough to start a Diesel Owners Review. Anyone that has taken delivery should go write their impressions after driving for a few days.

2014 GC "EcoDiesel" OWNERS!!! Review..

Oh emm geee.... My truck is practically right down the street from me.... Torture.
I know the feeling Chiv, mine is sitting 70 miles east in a train yard waiting to be offloaded and then hauled down the rest of the way. Looking at past departures from that yard, I'm guessing it's going to be Tuesday before I see any movement.

Mine may be within 100 miles from me. My dealer said expect delivery around mid-week. Can't wait to post on this new location!

That Jeep brown interior is going to be amazing. I knew I wanted that color was just worried about what exterior color it would go well with and so far Will's white and now your black both look amazing. Guess you just can't go wrong with it

Grats!!

Mine made it to MA finally, just waiting for it to get picked up and brought to the dealer. The suspense is killing me.

Dealer called this evening to let me know they 'pulled some favors' and got my jeep in from the rail yard a couple days early! Will be ready for pickup tomorrow!!

Can't believe this thing might actually exist after almost 2 years of waiting!

Congratulations! I think you hold the record for the longest wait. Hope that it comes in and makes your weekend.
