My SFU arrived home to Massachusetts today!

Epic picture, need to figure out how to make that my avatar.

Mine made it to the dealer, but too late to get the PDI done today. Looks like the earliest I can pick it up is Tuesday, all the techs are off tomorrow and Monday for veterans day.

Ugh, the wait continues, but at least I know she's at the dealer.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Mine's very close to the dealer, basically across the river from Manhattan, but stuck in "Unloaded from railcar" status for two days now...

Any idea what may be going on? I'm wondering if Monday delivery date is still realistic...

Got to see my SFU in all her skittley and rainbowy goodness. Couldn't take her home because they didn't have any techs to do the PDI. So she can't come home until Monday.

Did about a 1 hour inspection. Didn't find too much. The tail lights were just about perfect and no issue with the lift handle.

More scuff marks than I'd like and grimey prints on the door handles. But the only real thing ( and it's still pretty minor) is the rubber seals on the window were folded and funky. Dealer first said he thought the seal needed replaced but after fiddling with it said maybe not.

Acilate I saw yours too and it looks good! Didn't really inspect it much but there were no obvious issues. I took a few photos I'll post when I'm home.

Oh and I couldn't believe how quiet it was! Standing next to the engine I could barely hear it at idle.

Very impressive piece of machinery those guys at JNAP put together. Kudos! I'll put a review in the owners thread after I've actually had it for a few days.

Congrats guys, looking forward to those pictures. Kind of funny that closest of the 5 that left together will be the last to be delivered...not haha funny mind you. I still haven't even heard from my dealer yet but looks like I've slipped another day to the 13th, so probably the end of the week before delivery. Oh well, the clicking continues and reading all the reviews to fill my fix for now.

I am Black Forest Green with envy! Just got a call from my dealer, I should be in Benicia on Wednesday at the latest and he said that I should be driving it by the weekend...problem is I am leaving town on Wednesday and won't be back 'til Sunday night...major bummer. More waiting!

Re: 2014 diesel production

A couple quick photos of my SFU. We were in the shade so the photos are so-so. I should have better photos on monday once I take her for a drive.

In another post I'll put the few I snapped of Acilate's

At the dealer now, they can't find it anywhere

Edit: story is they hid it away so it doesn't get sold. My mystical steed eludes me another day.

Cool! Thanks for the photos. I have your twin coming to North Idaho. It was nice to see what it's going to look like when it finally arrives.

The fact that the problem car was a diesel is kinda irrelevant, bc all the cars from that bunch were held.. Remember, you may have the same build date as another member here, but the time of day is more relevant when dealing with 'hold' situations. The other hold may just be a mistake or something, bc I only know of the one. And it wasn't even a recent build. The car was actually a 100% car from a couple weeks ago.. And the issue was nothing you need be concerned about at all.. It was an isolated occcurence. But they had to check.
I do remember it being a batch hold, but then when number two popped up, i had an "oh poop it is my SFU causing issues." I have been calmed me down and led to believe the issue had extremely low odds that it would leave me stranded midway between Washtucna and Dusty (yes, those are places I actually go) by a helpful member.
