Re: 2014 diesel production

I picked up my SFU today and it is a masterpiece. The look, feel, sturdiness, noise level, and seemless controls make this a thing of beauty. As everyone else, I will give my 2 cents in the review post when I have spent some time with it.
The only weird thing I have noticed with it so far: When I put it in park and got out to take some pictures, the brake lights were on. Also, even with the hill start assist turned off it feels like the brakes are still applied after I initially touch the brakes and release the pedal. Has anyone else experienced this?
So far I love it!!

Is it me? Or the picture that you showed is an example of misaligned tail lights (the one on the driver's side)?

The sheet metal isn't lining up either so my guess is that the hatch needs alignment. Its pulling too low on the drivers side. If so, that's an easy fix.

Edit: The last pic has a larger gap over the left lens so maybe its just the taillight assembly. Either way, correctable.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Picked mind up last night but was really too busy (me/wife/kids have a cold) to mess with it much. Looking forward to playing with it today!

Re: 2014 diesel production

My SFU is still sitting 70ish miles away on the train.

Dear someone,
Please unload my SFU from the train and put it on a truck to my dealer.
Thanks!

PS: The sooner the better.

Re: 2014 diesel production

What would you guys suggest I push for to repair 4 inch to two inch deep scratches in the back passenger door window (on driver side)? I think I am going to push for them to just replace the pane of glass in the window... Aka swap the window assembly. Sound like the best option?

Re: 2014 diesel production

Wills or Milous if u guys can just check on this one for me, is it built and on the way couse me and my wife are thinking to tell my stealership to swap with the other dealer if they could for the interior pourpuses.
She picked Marocco Black, but now more and more we like Jeep Canyon Brown, plus we should have our SFU delivered by Thursday cause our salesman is out on Wednesday, so maybe I can talk to somebody if it's possible.
Also other dealer said it's avalible

Wow. Was all this supposedly done by the shipping company?

The vehicle you are asking about landed at Jessup a few days back and is due to the destination dealer mid-week. Your vehicle was unloaded last night and will be at your dealer around the same time.

Likely being delivered over the weekend or on Monday/Tuesday

On a Truck, on its way.
