Adjusting a couple of things ever so slightly fixes the problem but really you need to realize that you would not have even noticed had we not been talking about it!

I was almost inclined to do it myself because I think to get it totally perfect, you just need to take some time with it.

I would forget about it until your first service visit or if you find other things you need them to look at. Overall looks very sharp and I'm so jealous of all you that are out driving your CRD's while the rest of us are just sitting here reading about it anxiously awaiting our deliveries.
What it actually looks to be: the taillight on the body is kinked a little bit. I'm sure it will not take much to fix.
I have a much bigger issue: If I hit the brakes part way to slow down the brakes stay on and do not shut off. I let my wife drive it while I followed in another car and I could smell the brake pads burning away. It is unsafe to drive at this point. Also, I had the thing in cruise on dry pavement when the cruise kicked off and the traction control light stayed on. I have serious issues here that need to be fixed. Furthermore, it looks like there are bulbs in the taillight sections on the hatch, but they do not light up.
Of course, because the brakes stay on so much my MPG's have been terrible.

Matt'sGC, sorry to read about your brake issue. First time I have read on this forum about sticky brakes. It is a safety issue and I hope it gets corrected ASAP

Thanks, I am going to take it to the dealer first thing tomorrow. I guess it is a good thing I got the MaxCare package because I will need the loaner car.

Re: 2014 diesel production

You may have an issue with the brake master cylinder. Does the car pull to one side or does it brake straight ahead? If one side, I'd say stuck caliper piston. If straight, MC.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Just heard you guys have finally been receiving your Jeeps.

Congrats everyone! I hope they give you years of joy.

I'm currently Jeepless, Yamahaless and barely have a Dodge thanks to some thieves. Well not really Jeepless... it's just sitting on bricks, and stuck in such a financial bind that I can't possibly imagine getting them both fixed anytime soon. Word of advice: When switching insurance companies, never trust your insurance salesperson... check your deductibles.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Pookie and Ray Ray broke into my garage. Took my wheels, and tried to steal the Dart's radio, and ran off with my Yamaha scooter.

I got the same thing… he said it was "active" as of 11/1. Everyone should ask their dealer to check this before finalizing the deal!

Oh man - sorry to hear that. I think people who screw with your car are some of the lowest form of scum there are.

Did they steal your bike too? I've had two stolen in Seattle over the last decade. Incredibly frustrating to have someone joyride your toys.

Sorry to hear this, hopefully it is something easily fixable. Wasn't really what I was thinking when I said your first service visit. Let us know how it turns out and make sure they replace those brake pads since they're not covered under warranty and you know for a fact they have been worn down a little due to the sticking.
