Yep, another day, another missed delivery date. If we don't go tomorrow I have a bad feeling we don't go until next week. All the ones I've seen out of CB is either Tuesday or Thursday, though there aren't hundreds to compare either. Though the one that went out already went on Tuesday. Maybe Tuesday is local delivery and Thursday is out of town? Guess all we can do is click and pray....good luck

Good question. Maybe they were sitting with the DEF tanks?

Can someone who supposedly has the engine block heater confirm it's there?

Coolio, thanks! I guess now we need to either get a part number or find a way to liberate one from the line. "Chevy is that a block heater in your pants or are you just happy to see me?"

Picked up my new ride late this afternoon. Looks great! I haven't gone through everything in bright daylight but have not found too many issues.
I also found the 110 VAC cord bundle tucked down behind the fuse box in the engine compartment but I've not confirmed it is actually connected to the block heater.

The gap between taillight lens and the side body lens is on the passenger side is less than half as wide as the gap on the driver's side. Rear passenger door is not flush with body when closed.

There are gray plastic plugs closing the tailgate taillight lens. The one on the driver's side is not properly assembled, repair is required.

The DEF tank was slightly over 1/4 full, the dealer topped it up when I pointed it out.

The tire pressures were all over the place from 32 to 39 psi, they adjusted pressures so all are at 33 psi but one TPMS shows 32.

Looks like UConnect is not the latest version, will have to investigate.

More to follow.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Well my JGC finally showed up at the dealer today. It looks awesome, can't wait to take delivery. Will post a review after I get a chance to put her through the paces.

One never knows where life will take you, and Boy Scouts taught me to be prepared. After 20 years in TX, in 2000, I took a new job in Michigan. I was there barely more than a year, but still experienced 36" snow the first year. Before the next winter, I was was transferred to FL. The Durango 4x4 still served me well there and back to TX.

I also put ORAII on my Jeep.. I'm not a rock climber, but after 10-12 years, someone will be looking for a well-kept off-roader. In the meantime, I have the options if life gives me mountains.

Besides, I have new friends in MN-SP, sounds like a good road trip.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Dropped my SFU with the dealer last night to fix the badly installed door handle. They tried their best to re-install it properly but failed to completely solve the issue as the handle mounting brackets are all twisted. They are ordering a new door handle which will take two weeks to be delivered.

Indeed you do, and you're welcome to come up anytime and try out your new block heater....
