Fellas: about to walk away from an 8/9 order. Built on 9/12, experienced the delays we're all familiar with. Been unloaded from rail car since 11/2. United Road Logistics out of MI was responsible for delivery. Found out they forgot about my vehicle on 11/8, promised delivery by EOD today. I get a voice mail at 1pm this aft stating the semi going to load up the vehicles blew a head gasket, no delivery today nor the immediate future, I'm now "back to square one with Chrysler" according to them. My dealer, their regional rep are of no assistance. I've had it.

You are sooooo close. Maybe just a day or two. Maybe you are having second thoughts for other reasons. My advice is to be patient unless you really don't want the new vehicle.

Now with that said, in a matter of a few WEEKS, my signature will change and I'll have some new info to post!!!! There's a LOT of activity going on in the PILOT BUILD!!! ROOM!!!!!

... and I even know a few things about the WL already.... Still don't know if the Durango will continue or not.
You sure know how to make (re)entrances…
Oh how I can't wait for tidbit time again!!!!

Do me a favor, when you want somebody to announce there will be wood paneling as an option that I get to do it. Already started dropping hints with my wife that we are going to be on the list for one.

Route 66 is a splendid one to behold
My SFU is at the dealer as of late yesterday. Hopefully the front windows will be tinted tomorrow morning so I can pick it up in the afternoon! Got a small book of unicorn stickers...will stick one or two on the temporary license plate for fun! I don't know if I can sleep until it is in the garage!

They're starting to show up on dealer lots now, so the wait to take a test drive might not be that long anymore. I got curious and checked, and one of the big dealerships in my area looks like they've gotten a few in. I'm not sure how popular diesels are around here (I mostly see heavy-duty trucks and tiny VW cars), so it's hard to say how long they'll have them.

Too bad life has taken me out of the car market for at least a little bit. Sometimes timing is everything. I guess it's sort of for the best, since I don't NEED a replacement yet. It's more about consolidating two cars back down to one while I can still get some sale/trade value for what I've got and before I have to spend any real money on them. And because I haven't gotten myself any really cool toys for a while.

Last I checked, there will be lots of wood for the Grand Waggy... just not sure if it's gonna be inside or outside. Seems like every time I talk to someone, it's either green lighted or canceled. Nobody seems to know whether it's coming or not but I'm thinking we're gonna have to wait until 2017 for it. I can't see them doing it anytime soon, there's not much life left in this generation. I mean there's only two model years left... one if you count the imminent '15 pilots coming very very soon.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Had an uneventful flight to Houston, called Brainstormer, and he was unfortunately slightly delayed - poor guy got a flat tire in the new Jeep. He and his son got some first hand experienced at changing a tire in his new Jeep. He picked us up, and gave us a mini tour of Houston - saw the Astro Dome, and new new stadium (that astrodome is tiny comparatively). Dropped us of at our hotel, and we chatted for a while. Was great seeing him, and met his son - both are really great guys. Would have loved to spend more time, but as you can see, it is late, and my wife wanted to go to bed. She is telling me to turn off the light, and go to bed, as we pick up the new Jeep in 8 hours. Yea, like I can actually sleep tonight...NOT
Will give an in-depth review over the next few nights during the road trip back home.

I didn't think to look, but I will this morning for sure. It's starting to get cold here and I intend to get into the habit of using the block heater as I want to keep my baby warm and cozy.
