Yea, like I can actually sleep tonight...NOT Will give an in-depth review over the next few nights during the road trip back home.
Shannon, let me be the first to congratulate you on your big day. Hope all goes well on picking up your new Ecodiesel and that it is everything you are expecting and more. I'll see you when you get home, and with luck, I'll have mine by then as well. Two and a half weeks since KZ and counting. Who will have the first diesel GC in MN????

You have been stuck a week longer then myself...Guess I should not be grumbling...It is difficult to understand how October orders beat August...Grannie always said, "life is not fair"! Dreams are to be held tight...Good luck!

It is no other reason other than the fact I'm busting my a$$ to rectify this situation, while Jeep and my dealer sit idle and have zero sense of urgency? Furthermore, it is more and more enticing to walk away from this vehicle given the fact that the exact same configured Limited w/ ORAII, Lux, etc. as the one I ordered on 8/9, today, prices out over $600 cheaper with a very quick turnaround than the one I originally ordered.

I get a voice mail at 1pm this aft stating the semi going to load up the vehicles blew a head gasket, no delivery today nor the immediate future, I'm now "back to square one with Chrysler" according to them. My dealer, their regional rep are of no assistance. I've had it.
I feel for you. Have you told the dealer that you expect him to arrange for an immediate pickup of the vehicle to save his order? My dealer sent his own trailer to save several days wait for me.

That is what I was honestly expecting him/them to do. They are a very prominent dealer in the area and would hate to think they don't have the resources to do it. I'm going to personally walk into the dealership this morning and confront this head on, with the goal of understanding exactly what the plan is. I gave them the ultimatum yesterday of me taking ownership of the vehicle by this weekend or walking away.

Re-negotiate your price.

By walking away, do you mean you will reorder with a different dealer or are done with the JGC all together?

This morning I took the 20 minute drive over the rail terminal for an SFU sighting. I found the carrier who handles Jeeps, gave him my VIN and he said it hadn't been unloaded yet from the rail car. Since it has been there a couple days he said it would "probably" be unloaded today, and if so, "probably" will go the dealer tomorrow. I was within a few hundred yards of my SFU but didn't see it. AAARRRRGGGHHHH. The wait is killing me. I'll call them tomorrow and he can easily check the VIN again for an update. BTW, he said they had seen 2 or 3 Ecodiesels come through already, so I guess neither Shannon or me will be the first one in MN.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Just got THE CALL from my dealer. Picking it up tomorrow.

Also, my dealer (Manhattan, NYC) has three more summit diesels on the way that are not customer orders in case somebody is interested in picking one up quickly.
