I've decided to stick it out with this/my SFU. It's one of the early, original builds. It's mine. But, I'm reaching out for some help. I'm still sitting, unloaded from the rail car in Hegewisch, IL since 11/02; 3 hours away from my house. Today, it has been sitting for two weeks in a lot no one can tell me anything about. Totally unheard of, at least with every SFU orderee on JeepGarage. My dealer has contacted the regional sales rep, but she seems to not have any sort of sense of urgency. I contacted Jeep customer support again this morning and pleaded with the gentlemen to PLEASE ping someone/anyone who can help. He said he couldn't. I told the dealer I'm willing to hire, pay for a transporter myself to go and get it. He sent that message to her yesterday, no word back. I'm asking anyone who can help me in anyway get my vehicle on a semi. Whether you work at Jeep, have a contact, etc. - please contact them, me or both. My wife is 7 months pregnant, had to cancel a road trip to her families in North Carolina for Thanskgiving due to not having the vehicle and furthermore no one being able to give me a date as to when it will arrive, etc. etc. You get the picture. This scenario is going from bad to worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

2 weeks! That's terrible. I thought I had it bad. It has been a week for me and my jeep only 1.5 hours away. It's really frustrating. You start to wonder if it was dropped off a truck. I hope you get yours soon. I know from experience the last few months of pregnancy get rough. Of course after your child is born you will hardly remember any of this. Mine is two years old and I have gotten by with a 2DR Wrangler all this time but I it really sucks loading her in sideways from the back window and having her hold the groceries.

Well the Crimson Unicorn is at home. Totally loving the Jeep. UConnect rocks. Everything works great. The only issue is the fuel door is not aligned. Dealer will fix that when I return later this week for the DEF topoff. They had to order some. I am switching the the received thread but will still check this one. I want everyone to be able to enjoy this masterpiece. UnsungChip, my truck sat in that yard for a few days. Here's hoping for a faster delivery to you.

Thanks again to the hard working folks at JNAP for building an awesome vehicle. This vehicle is world class. Love it.

Tomorrow will be day 7 for my SFU at the rail terminal 20 minutes from my house. At least they unloaded it from the railcar per MOTS. Hopefully it will be on a truck to the dealer soon. I think it is curious that my dealer's response to all this was "that's the manufacturers for you." WHAT? This has nothing to do with Chrysler/Jeep. It has everything to do with the way the local rail terminal and the local truck companies operate. They don't want any excess capacity because that costs money, so when things get a little too busy they don't have the resources to keep things moving. The other interesting thing was when I called with my VIN for status, the trucking company said they could only give that info to the dealer, but the dealer said they didn't know who to call.

You still haven't got yours yet! Wow. Is your dealer that close too? Why won't they just release it?

I find that a little amusing as a mental picture. I can just imagine a toddler gumming assorted foodstuffs on the drive home and you're like "No honey, put the vodka back"

I got a similar response from my dealer. They would not say who the trucking company was and they had no sense of urgency either. They have already had several diesels delivered.

So Chrysler still owns our vehicles at this point? You would think there would be some monetary pressure to get our vehicles to the dealer. Maybe they were damaged during unloading.

Even my wife noticed that in passenger seat. I'll post full review in the review thread, but had no issues during inspection. Fit and finish was great, none of the misalignment issues that some other people mentioned. Only three minor things: - Urea tank was only half full and dealer had no Urea on hand... They ordered it and will top off - I noticed the headlights fog a little, but I guess this is normal? - When I crank up the sound system really loud (like all the way) there's some rattle inside the B pillar on drivers side. Dealer said they will check it and fix, but I'll wait till the oil change Loving this thing so far Thanks again Milous, Willx, Chevy, Marlon, etc. for all you do here!
Looks real nice! Drove a Summit diesel in Vegas yesterday . It was real nice. In fact drove vehicles with all of the different engines, but first time driving the diesel.
Want the diesel, I have a hemi already. Just trying to decide on a color and a good deal.

You are correct... Chrysler can't even really influence it much any this point . Unless there is some emergency. I would give the dealer the contact info though
