mtmmerlin:
Thanks I did do the brochures and I do hope I can get the 500 buck coupon. I can't wait to order this thing Saturday or Monday. Then the waiting begins.

Bluespark is installed and running at default settings. I doubt a 5.7 Hemi GC would hang. The acceleration is aggressive.
Time to update that signature.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Picked up my jeep this afternoon. Fit and finish seem right on. No gaps or misalignment. Full tank of diesel, full tank of DEF. Very quick turnaround. Ordered 10/11. Delivered to dealer 11/15. Thanks JNAP crew! Real busy week but looking forward to a good shakedown run this weekend.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Just got back from the dealer with Our SFU !! WHAAA.......
I'll post some picks tomorrow on the Owners thread, also not a lot things to be fixed or adjusted
- first thing that cought my eye was Fuel Door misalign
-DPF only half way full even my sales person said that they did fill it, but I checked with him and said I will come back tomorrow to get the fuel door fixed and get DPF tapped-off to full
Tomorrow will be the day of my inspection !

Congrats to everyone who has gotten their mythical unicorn - especially Vtail, we were neck and neck there from leaving JNAP, to unloading at the dest yard, but you won!

Funny story... Called my dealer today as MOTS estimated delivery today of my Cashmere Summit. It's been sitting in the destination rail yard for 5 days now. Dealer tells me he has no clue when and no way to contact the car transport company as there are 7 of them... Whatever. Just about to hang up and he says "whoa, a transport just pulled in, I see a Jeep Grand Cherokee on there... Can you wait a couple of minutes and ill walk over there and see if that is yours, it is Cashmere Pearl, so this could be it..."

I thought to myself, perfect... the dealer narrates on the walk over, anticipation building...! "Nope, that's a Limited". *heartache*

And the wait goes on... I'll tell my wife this story once ours finally gets in, the blow by blow wait just might push her over the edge into ill humor...!

Congrats on your new ride and I'm glad your getting caught up at work. Once you get more miles on the clock can you give us some 0-60 times? Also I'm curious if your MPG goes up any...I had a couple of Cummins 6.7's with a programmer and it made a difference on the get-up and go and the MPGs also improved. Please keep us posted.

Hey if you call or email Chrysler Incentives (see link/info below) they can look it up in their system to see if you were mailed a certificate card. They look it you up by Zipcode and last name. Thats what I did and they found it and were able to give me the certificate number. If you call and they dont have one for you wait about a week and call back as you just signed up. I cant promise it will work but its worth the effort.

Does the Bluespark affect turbo lag at all? I know you go the one with turbo boost...

We need a 0-60 video to compare. There is a video of a HEMI doing 0-60 in about 6 seconds in another thread, and I will also take one to confirm the time.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Just picked up my Overland yesterday afternoon. Very nice ride and features. It was almost impossible to keep it within the break-in speed suggested in the manual (50-60 mph for first 300 miles). This is my first diesel and was very impressed with the power. Rarely went over 2K RPMs. No real deceleration on hills like a gasser. Able to pass with ease at 70+ mph. So far the only features that I don't like are the automatic high beam. I had to shut that off, otherwise they never really come on. I will have to read more about how they work. Also, the adaptive cruise control. Seems like in traffic its constantly breaking and gassing (not stop and go traffic, just congested highway), where you can simply just let your foot off the gas. I think this would work best on an open highway where you periodically come up on cars. Its not something you would want to use driving into NYC in the morning. Other than that, I love it.
