I don't suppose any of you are tired of yours and would be willing to give me a deal?
Holy Crap! I wouldn't take anything less than a new/replacement vehicle, unless they're willing to cut you a major discount.

Since Chrysler does not offer a lifetime warranty on the diesel he was quite certain that CNA does not either. Unfortunately, I think they made a mistake with your warranty as it does not specifically list diesel. Don't burn the messenger.
He is wrong. My dealer and I called CNA directly to confirm, I was on the speakerphone with them. See my warranty below - "Pro LIFETIME Wrap+Plus Care":

All that hard work gone right down the drain.

I would NOT accept delivery.
I'd re-order another Jeep.

Good news is that now, there's no more holds or restrictions or missing parts to my knowledge.

Depending on what you ordered or how flexible you are you might consider picking one up on the ground. I've turned a couple down now because of the interior color (black, I want the summit with brown) and one had the rear entertainment which I consider an insult. I expect to have my mitts on one shortly.

The dealer is looking around. I have tried Jeep.com to search but mine shows up on there so don't think I can sort what is available vs what is already sold.

I am sorry to hear this... I had received an enquiry on this and I apologize that we could not give more detail at the time. This is simply one of those things that needs to go through the appropriate channels.

I like Marlon's suggestion, the build process is fast now and you will be able to get exactly what you want. Diesels are getting to built VERY fast. Not sure your current vehicle situation though.

Let us know if there is any other help we can provide.

How about checking the inventory from websites of nearby dealers. You can also try autotrader.

For this your dealer can use their locate function. It is more accurate for option specific searches.

Glad to see that you did get a lifetime warranty. I'm not surprised at the incorrect information. My dealer doesn't work with CNA and I suspect that the second dealer didn't want to deal with me for the warranty as I didn't buy the car from him.

If its a small dealer he won't have as many options to trade as a larger one would have. I didn't have any luck using online dealer searches because there doesn't seem to be any way to sort out sold cars from those that are coming in unsold and I got tired of calling up dealers to find the thing was a sold order. I called up Dave Smith to deal with it. They can make a trade if anyone can and I've always got a quick yes or no from them. They seem to be able to determine a cars status (sold/unsold) with whatever source/tools they use.

It really is a bummer btw, I feel for you after all this waiting.

My dealer told me that to get the CNA warranty you have to buy the warranty from the dealer where you purchased the car, and the dealer has to be affiliated with CNA. (you can get warranty repair service anywhere). They start with a base free lifetime powertrain warranty that is provided with each car they sell, then you add the "pro wrap" bumper to bumper lifetime warranty on top of that. Hope this helps.

Nautiboy,

As a matter of fact, I just bought a Scanguage2 today in hopes of resetting an MIL light. Im pretty sure I clogged the DPF with ridiculous idle times. Its a great device and I hope to find the codes for EGT and/or DPF temps too. The SG2 doesn't reset the MIL but the Auto zone loaner did. I will probably get a Bluetooth ODB2 adapter and Android app to reset the MIL if it happens again. I'm not going to idle for hours anymore.

Now that my MIL is off, I'll try a few 0-60's in the next few days and see what the Blues park will do.
