I was not using 4-Lo - system said 'raising' and I could swear I felt it rising. It was at NRH when the process started. I will try it again and see.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Is it possible they have a shortage of diesel engines available? Must be some reason.
I am at day 22 since I ordered and it has not made it past waiting for production scheduling. Something must be up...

It takes 6-8 weeks to get a Jeep. It is built in one day. It takes about 1-2 weeks for shipping. You are still in the normal timeframe. Even if it is built in a month, you will still fall in the normal time frame. I know it sucks waiting, but this is normal for ordering.

have you checked the Jeep Vots site. I ordered 11/25, went d1 12/03, and got the email from Vots this morning saying I am in paint. looks like my scheduled delivery of 12/27 could be likely.

I ordered mine on 11/13. Per VOTS it went through through the complete build process to shipment in less than 2 days. It went to shipment on 12/12, but as of this morning it is still in Detroit with the "KZ" status tag. My estimated delivery date has moved from 12/24 to 12/26. It was hoping for an early Christmas present, but now it will be a late one. Can't wait!!

Re: 2014 diesel production

Yes I did check VOTS and I am still in the same status as I have been since 11/25 production scheduled. I understand the entire timeline from all the site reveals but at 22 days (average 19-22 days before leaving production) I would have expected some movement by now...
I am not impatient but had expected based on averages to see movement especially if others ordering the same day have movement in 8 days...

Maybe it started rising when you moved the dial from Auto to Sand (on your way to Snow). What you need to check is that once you are in Snow mode what lights are on beside the "UP" button. If only the bottom light is on, then you are in NRH.

Re: 2014 diesel production

Anyone know what 'ramp compare inventory' means? Using the vehicle as some kind of benchmark? Thx

It means it is sitting in a yard in Detroit. Just waiting for others to be build, so they can be placed on a train.

Re: 2014 diesel production

As a comparison, apples to oranges, before we got our diesel, we were going to order an Unlimited Sahara, and they told me about 8wks...they said are coming in 6wks, some in 10wks. I know it's not the same plant, just my 2 pennies. I was very lucky the dealership had an SFU come in, and exactly what the wife wanted.
