Just read my first disappointing review. It was in the June Issue of Car and Driver. Jeep diesel came in fourth behind VW TDI (1), Porsche Cayenne (2), and MB ML 350 (3). Surprisingly it beat the BMW X5.

Anyone is welcome to disagree and be wrong.... I mean hey statistically there would need to be someone who is going to be against the revolution

Motor Trend of course had the opposite opinion and got slammed for it because the Mercedes/VW fanboys were offended. I posted on there and got called a FIAT employee because I owned a Mercedes at the time and didn't love it.

Me too.... Have looked at the VW, BMW, Mercedes and Audi diesels, but still like the GC the best. Best value for the money and should have much lower repair costs as I intend to keep it for 10 years. Most say to get rid of the Euro diesels before the warranty expires...

Don't know if its online yet. Was at the doctors office today and read it. Also read a review that said the 0-60 on the v6 and diesel was identical. Kinda bummed as I've been waiting over a year for the diesel. Thought I'd get hemi quickness and v6 mileage. May have to reconsider the v6. Any real world experiences would be appreciated.

Interesting, Motor Trend did a comparison between the VW, Mercedes, Porsche, and Jeep and the Jeep ranked first. Their tested 0-60 time was 7.8 seconds.
