Split the difference then and buy the Hemi

In all seriousness though, people are reporting relatively good gas mileage out the V8.

Because Jeep wants me to suffer... so that I appreciate my new truck all that much more. Milous posted the first run production mix earlier... and there were NO limited diesels in the first run. zip, zilch, zero... all overland and summits.

Re: 2014 diesel production

It's probably because they know they can force a small potion of people to upgrade to the next trim level by stalling. Some guys want it ASAP and they'll step up to get it.

That is just the original order mix... You may still be able to order a Limited and it will schedule just a little slower?

I wouldn't hold your breath, but what was posted was a mistake, and could be revised for Sept production numbers... you never know!

I was thinking the same thing but I do like the quadralift being included, the 20 inch wheels, and essentially the Lux II package.

Would prefer black hooks but I do like the fact it has power folding mirrors...very convenient at times

Right there with ya. Fingers crossed for Limiteds in the first production run!

Re: 2014 diesel production

With a fully loaded limited, it has everything the Overland has, except for power folding mirrors, puddle lamps, and a few small trim modifications. I can't see paying an extra $3500 for a few small cosmetic differences.

I totally understand where Chiv is coming from. Especially as he does not even want some of the included items in the overland trim. I saw an absolutely beautiful Limited in white today with the 18" wheels, why pay more if you don't need or want to?

On the other hand, I am going for the Summit because of the similar trim to the SRT which I think looks fantastic (though JD may still tell me the Summit is a ladies car ). To each their own, hopefully limited does get into the mix once they see orders.... Personally I am really missing the Harmon Kardon stereo I got to experience for a little over a week.

For my pal Chivvalry.... Hopefully the limited gets produced sooner rather that later, I fear for his sanity so much you can bump me a few days to get his limited to him.... He is CLEARLY in more dire need than I at the moment!!!

Wood interior trim, wood steering wheel, body color fascia, cargo net, and additional interior colors to be specific. At prices quoted by TrueCar, it's only about $2,125 different for those features.
