But, by this time Friday I'll be over it.
I was debating the luxII on the limited as well but really leaning toward getting it vs. the Overland and not just a base limited... They really made up my mind for me on this.

I really hope you guys can order on friday😄. I gave up and got a hemi summit which now that most of the electronic issues seem to have been sorted out is great. The finish is superb. One good thing for you guys that waited is hopefully all the uconnect and electronic issues will be a non-issue🍻

We will just have "different" issues... I have been in the automotive industry long enough to know that if you are particular there is always something and that is ok. Frankly I am fine if that is a radio problem because that is minor.

What I do feel good about is the great experience all the folks who already took delivery of their export CRDs are having!

Re: 2014 diesel production

I wish I could have waited on the CRD. Pulled the trigger about a month ago on a V6 Overland. 6000 miles later and I'm really enjoying the ride. I'm rooting for you diesel dudes and looking forward to going on my own test ride. Next time for me.

Re: 2014 diesel production

So...anyone have the double-secret info on what time the CRD ordering might go live....after waiting 5+ months it feels like the race is on again!

Re: 2014 diesel production

If CRD ordering does finally go live tomorrow what is needed by the dealer to get one ordered? Do they require financing and down payment?

Realize there's probably not many negotiation options ordering this new vehicle, but what you guys hoping the dealer "throws in"?

Fingers crossed...

Also, any idea when RAM CRD production might start on 2014 models?
COMPLETELY UNRELATED & WRONG FORUM, I know

All I know is what deal I have.

Dealer ordering with nothing signed and no money down - I can walk away if I don't like the way it drives when it gets there (most likely would just get a Hemi if the CRD feels slow).

I think I got a pretty average deal, $1650 below invoice, title/license/dealer fees of $500.

I'm locked in with a dealer in the DC area with a pre-negotiated 7% under invoice and $499 "dealer fee". So really around 6% under invoice. Not asking for anything else at this point though I may push for an additional military discount ($500 I think) when I go to pick it up.

Generally a dealer may or may not ask for a deposit to order... any deposit you give could be conditional, or not. You shouldn't have to show financing prior to ordering under any circumstances though.

No idea on the RAM.
