Shannon, I will PM you status before I can even verify it if I see anything even remotely involving movement on your vehicle....

Just so you guys know, your enthusiasm and obsession is infectious. I haven't even made a real decision on what to buy yet, but I still keep reading this thread AND when I saw a Grand Cherokee pulled up to a diesel/gas combo pump I could not resist taking a quick peek at which nozzle was in the tank (it was gas, of course).

I hope you'll all use this power for good instead of evil.

Oh, that's right - you're a bay area dude too aren't you? That depresses me a little that you were released and I wasn't. I would've thought they'd batch up the ones for the same area, especially those shipped by train. Since they only seem to send trains out this way about once a week, I think that means I'm a week away from release. :( Unless of course I manage to release in time to catch the same train you're on.

So I'm one of the Dublin's - curious is it you or Acilate who is the other?

Nice to see my old hometown (or at least close) being represented. :)
Yup I'm the other Dublin. After canvassing every other dealer in the bay, they had the best price. One of their salesmen pissed me off but Jim seems fair enough.

KZ!!!! I had to look at the post 3 times just to make sure it said "talltale"

Now for the 2-3 week shipping to North Idaho wait.

Thank you, again, to our JNAP insiders for giving us minute to minute updates on our new toys!

I have not been on JG for a while but came here to see if anyone had taken delivery of a CRD and what the feedback was, but apparently they're still not on dealer lots / owners' hands.
The 2014 WK2 is a great vehicle but the fact that the CRD was launched in mid January, reviewed by every car mag a month or two later, advertised on TV, yet still not available more than 10 months later is pathetic.
Wish I could have ordered a CRD, but the X5 has been fantastic and I love how it drives with the diesel. I still do a head snap when I see a 2014 WK2 trying to determine if it's a diesel. When the CRD's finally get in you guys will love them.

Edit: must submit guess today as we expect them to start shipping soon so wouldn't be fair if you guess later... Also you can't edit your guess so be confident of your guess!

We have a winner!!!

Looks like they are getting KZ'd fast! Chiv and Nautiboy, if you guys are forced to riding motorcycles this time of year: I truly hope you get yours right away!
They are probably trying to figure out how to load a 6 ft wide paint monster onto a train car for Shannon.
I know mine will be released soon, I cannot wait!!

Chevy, thanks for helping all of us throughout all of this. We could not have asked for more.

I hope to meet you all one day during a DieselFest or whatever we want to call a meeting of this fun group.

I've been quietly watching the forum for a while now in an attempt to not jinx my order. Stoked to see so many people go KZ, now if mine would only clear D1 status. Can't complain though, from order to delivery it's saying about 6 weeks. Even the wife asks a couple times a day what the forum has been saying!

Hey Nauti, pm me your email or if you have iCrap like me, then just send me your number and I'll send you the video I took of the yard. Still don't know if the one I saw (from a distance) is yours, but you can see an inbound train arriving.

I tried posting it to YouTube then to here, but it's not working. Plus I have a bit of a potty mouth.

I would love to see a window sticker. I tried to open one that you guys generously posted but said that VIN didn't exist. I have a two vote system at home and I have only of of those two votes so need to convience my better half it is worth 50 large or so for a Limited on up 4x4.

So happy for you guys. Been watching this forum forever but just recently joined as a member.
Cheers to you few that got their rides today...

You don't have to spend 50 large to get a Limited Diesel w/ Lux II package…

I ordered a 4x4 Limited w/ Diesel, Lux II, Trailer Tow IV, Engine Block Heater Plug and I have haggled my dealer down to low $42,XXX as well as an extra $500 off for an expired customer cash coupon I have (he will honor this because it's not my fault the car is so late) as well as incredible financing (which isn't all in his hands).

If you live in or near Ohio I can give you this dealers contact info. It makes things easier if you are a supplier to Jeep (check you'll be surprised how many companies are) or if you are signed up for tread-lightly or another program.

Good luck with the "negotiations" with the significant other!
