Re: 2014 ecodiesel in shop

I used PS products in our diesel powered Safari Motor Home and I am now using PS Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost in our GC Overland.

We live in TX so anti-gelling isn't an issue here !

The tranny problems that some are having are more irritating than nightmarish. As for those problems, a harsh up or downshift is still better than a vehicle that can't be driven.

Jeep is still at dealership. They keep on asking for supplements from my insurance company After draining the tank and changing all injectors jeep still not running. I think they are changing out injectors that were installed weeks ago

Could be worse. I get as low as 17mpg w/ my daily commute. I have zero highways and more traffic lights than I can count

If you have lots of stop and go driving this is where a (parallel or series) hybrid would actually make the most sense.

A hybrid? You mean like a mule?

Not sure what mule means but IMO hybrids make sense in heavy urban commutes where there is a lot of stop / go and prolonged idling where the hybrid's strength is the engine can be shut off and you can run up to certain speed under electric propulsion. However, once moving at a speed that the gas engine has to run the diesels really trump the hybrids as they are more efficient. I'd love to see the next gen Volt switch over from gas to a diesel powerplant for the on board generator instead of a gas engine. I bet it's mpg after the first 40 miles wouldn't be high 30's but more likely high 40's / low 50's.

I think they don't know WTF they are doing and I'd get it to a competent dealer. and yes, I know that's an oxymoron.

It was a poor joke on my part. A mule is a biological hybrid of a horse and a donkey.
