Yep. I'm expecting a free 120k Chrysler Bumper to Bumper warranty at no charge for my trouble.

To be fair, my brake booster broke doing the recall and a parts shortage was the majority of the time. It took about 2 weeks to fix my DEF/SCR issue. They had me in a rental the whole time.

I'm back running great now so it's all good.

I hear you, ours has been in for a minor oil leak 5 times, once for 4 weeks, because they broke the wire at the crank angle sensor. Long story short, it took that long for a new crank angle sensor to be shipped from the states (we're in Australia).

We are now receiving a shudder like vibration just before the transmission down shifts when coasting or slowing down. It's a fast brrrr between gears. Anyone have any ideas?

The latest TSB for the transmission addresses harsh shifting and driveability issues. My shudders have so far went away after the update.

The TSB is only a firmware update to the transmission control module (TCM). Have you had this done already? If not, it's recommended.

Just heard from my dealer. They couldn't replicate the issue which was disappointing but they are installing that update.

If it only shudders on a uphill shift, or when cold, and isn't happening costantly, the TSB should fix it. Mine only occured under those conditions but that happens everytime the vehicle is driven from a cold start. So far, I'm at 500 miles with no shudder after the TSB. We'll see if it stays that way.

Well I got my Jeep back. There is a star case open on the issue. They added seafoam to my drove it 50 miles then changed the oil. They said a plugged EGR/PCV is causing the issues. Mine hasn't shuddered yet, but time will tell if it's fixed. If this actually fixes it, we are all in for a long nightmare of an ownership.

Haven't had the TSB applied yet, but that said I don't have a issue with shift quality, just that there is a vibration type shudder when the transmission is downshifting as you coast to slow down for a corner or slowing down to a stop. Happens in all gears 8-7, 7,6, 6-5, 5-4, 4-3, 3-2, 2-1. Doesn't happen during upshifts.

I interpret that as good news. Seafoam is cheap. I sorta doubt that a plugged EGR/PCV is the issue...but if it is, I'll be installing a catch can!
