Re: 2015 Deliveries?

I have just received a call from Jeep saying that the 2015 Grand Cherokee Diesel will not be build before mid November and that further delays are most likely.
I start to believe that there will be no New Diesel in my Garage this year. I ordered on the 10th of June by the way.

How do you get on a call list from Jeep? That sounds interesting.

I called The Jeep customer service a while ago and complained that they didn't keep their promise, building the Jeep in October. They said that they would call me back, which they did. Unfortunately with not much useful information at all. They only said that the diesel engine is not available right now.

Have they offered anything in return for the wait? I saw someone post about a free service contract at some point.

Re: 2015 Deliveries?

Guys... I'm still beta testing my 2014 for you all. Once they figure out all the kinks, they'll apply them to your 2015's and have them shipped to you /sarcasm off

Re: 2015 Deliveries?

So does anyone know what is causing these delays? Is it the lack or engine stock or are they actually addressing the dpf and cat issues?

I haven't heard about a free service contract but I've sure been thinking that they should do that. Absolutely. I remember some years ago when Hyundai offered a 100,000 mile warranty to bring in buyers who worried about the reliability of the Korean car. It worked, and the brand is now respected and very popular. And they still offer that warranty.

Jeep could go a very long way in addressing our concerns with this one simple offer.

Maybe we should start a campaign on Facebook or something??

You have to endure a major service fiasco to get a free extended warranty. Unfortunately I know this first hand.
