2015 Eco Diesel Reviews

Being as I'm awaiting delivery of a 2015 Overland Diesel I was wondering what the current owners think of theirs and if the 2014 issues have been resolved with any changes and TSB's. Please let me know what you think of yours!

Re: 2015 Eco Diesel Reviews

2015 Overland Ecodiesel, picked up a few weeks ago. Not a single problem, except for a small hiccup with the uConnect that seemed to re-boot and fix itself. I think we 2015 owner owe a collective THANK YOU to all the 2014 Mopar beta-testers that seem to have worked out all the bugs, including software updates to just about EVERY component of this great vehicle. And for the complete cat re-design. They still left the vulnerable DEF cables - but that is fixed by Dom's DEF protector plate.

I'm at a little over 1000 miles with no mechanical issues.. Uconnect had a fit with loading XM radio once.. but that's it.

1600 trouble free knock on wood. However I don't like the lower door sil. It's cheap plastic and when I knock snow off my shoes. It sounds like the sills are going to fall off. Other then that I love it

Re: 2015 Eco Diesel Reviews

11,000 miles so far and love it!

Two minor issues, one of which is cosmetic: the gas tank flap (okay Diesel tank not gas) doesn't sit centered in its receptacle when closed, so the gaps around it aren't uniform. Dealer has fixed it, it took two attempts, and it's now better and acceptable although still not perfect. The flaw is made more obvious because mine is white, and the dark gap stands out more.

Second issue is the MIL coming on for P20EE. That took a few visits back to the dealer. I just got it back yesterday. Hopefully it's resolved but only time and miles will tell.

But yeah for me and the co-pilot wife, and the dog, we are very happy with our CRD GC! I want 300K miles out of it!

Good luck with yours, Kinsman74, and let us know how you like it.

2015 EcoDiesel Overland with the Technology package and towing option. We've had it for almost a month.

It's shocking to both my wife and I how much we enjoy this vehicle. The seats are great, the lights are superb. Nice ride, even without the air suspension. Great electronics. My Android phone connected without issues. The iPod works great as well.

Complaints? More storage cubbies could be added without much grief. The cover for the cargo area should hide the entire area...there is currently a decent gap between the back of the rear seats and the cover. The fit of the exterior rear door trim could be a little more even. 3G should be 4G connectivity. Data plan is overpriced. The satellite antenna works fine in the country, but struggles to grab signals in the city. The nav system is a little old school, although it seems to work just fine finding addresses.

The diesel engine is a beast. Great for running down the highway. Good in town. Not too noisy. Just enough diesel feedback to make you smile. No issues, no odors, no insanity so far.

Worth the money? Oh my goodness yes.
