I'm so grateful I don't live where it snows much. I could not live with those rims lol Glad you're still in love, the GC is definitely an awesome vehicle!

LOL yeah the rims aren't pretty for sure. The stuff they put on the roads here during the winter will eat the finish off anything nice. These black steelies are on more vehicles here than not.

Glad to hear it's running well! Going to pickup some steelies too but also thinking of some sort of hubcap if it will help with the appearance of them.

Did you buy tpms for them?

PMs turned on, and PM sent.

My intention is to have 5 matching winter wheels, and 5 matching summer wheels. I would like to use the current spare as a matching part of the 5 winter wheels (18"). (Unless someone has a reason why I shouldn't) And then buy another matching summer wheel. (20")
That way I can do a 5 wheel rotation for both sets.

Yes got the TPM' @ $75 each. I may look for some wheel covers to improve appearance

Re: 2015 Overland Eco Diesel - comments / observations

Update Dec 15...18, 071 km's
So, what' s new since last update....
Well, apparently forward collision system doesn't work for deer so I had a close encounter (read strike) and bounced a doe off my right front fender...then body slammed her into the right rear panel.
In the bodyshop for a week and $4100 damage repaired.
Had a Ford Escape as a rental and all I can say about that is No Thanks. Not an impressive vehicle at all.
Been looking at rims for my Duratracs as a step up to the black "steelies" I currently have.
(See attached pic) As per dealer they do come in my size so just a matter of do I want to spend the money...quoted $1, 200 for a set of 4.
Mileage on GC still decent but has dropped off some since adding rock rails (weight) and the more aggressive tires GY Duratracs (increased rolling resistance)...still out performs that rental I had and my wife's Subaru Forester so can't complain.
I have noticed some hesitation on shifting in cooler temps but behaves normal after it warms up a bit.
I plan to use block heater once temps dip too low. So far haven't had any snow to test her out.
My rattle is still there but to a much reduced level. Service tech says they removed some sort of plastic they found under the vehicle when I brought to their attention the 3rd time.
Till next time, cheers!
