Did you paint the chrome trim, plasti dip or something else? Looks great!

Re: AFE ecodiesel intake..yay.

All chrome is covered with plastidip. I still have to do the handles and window trim. (Tow hooks and horns are red plastidip.)

Good... I see they are working on one for the Ram EcoDiesel and was curious if the GC would be included.

Anyone think MOPAR would source one for the GC?

Re: AFE ecodiesel intake..yay.

Don't care for this filter setup. Inhaling hot engine bay air instead of the stock ducted under hood lip opening. I wouldn't be surprised if you lose power with this option.

Re: AFE ecodiesel intake..yay.

Any updates from anyone running the AFE CAI? Anyone running the AFE with one of the tuner boxes like the Bluespark?

Re: AFE ecodiesel intake..yay.

No update. They are delaying the progress of an CAI for now as they feel that the market is not as big as the ram market.

I have been working/talking with them in a drop in replacement.

Re: AFE ecodiesel intake..yay.

I've had the AFE intake installed for a few hundred miles now, probably 300-500, and I can say the sound is nice. Much better than stock, although it's never going to sound like a 7.3 powerstroke. It's nice to be able to hear what the engine is doing.

It's always hard to judge fuel mileage increases outside of a lab setting, BUT i've averaged 30mpg for the last few hundred miles which was 60% highway and 40% back roads. The same commute with the stock intake got me around 27-28, so I'm happy with this thing.
