aFe GC EcoDiesel filter

This is from aFe website not sure if this is for the drop in filter or their stage II. I think it is for stage II.
Posted here for anyone interested in using their CAI or for anyone who can provide more detailed analysis about the data.
From my research the stage II type systems do not add anything over a drop in filter other than change in sound and appearance.
I still plan on going with Stage II once I am convinced it provides protection.

AFE currently offers the drop in, and the open air filter element type. They are also working on a true CAI which is what I'm waiting for. It's in proto right now.

Re: aFe GC EcoDiesel filter

The above dyno chart seems about right - since I'm guessing they tested it with Stage 2 and the hood up. Nice free and cold air, but I'd think it would be about the same if tested with hood down since any gains from the filter would be negated by all the hot underhood temps. The shield might help a bit, but I don't think that would help much. Pretty sure the "cork" in our cars is between the hot side of the turbo and the exhaust tip. :-)
