Anti Theft False Alarms

Seems something is amiss with my alarm in the JGC 2014 summit diesel. Starts sounding the horn about five minutes after locking. Will continue to do it after unlock relock cycle every time.

Anyone have any experience or insight?

Re: Anti Theft False Alarms

Just started happening in my 11-month old 2014 Overland V6. Alarm about 1 minute after locking. Started after a road trip in heavy rain. It's at the dealer's now.

Thumbs up Re: Anti Theft False Alarms

Same problem. Solved by the dealer changing the hood latch sensor. Easy one hour job!

Re: Anti Theft False Alarms

Took them a couple of days to diagnose. Did a Body Control Module update and ordered a master switch replacement. Could be the key too, am using the second key. So far so good.
