Update: Heard back from my dealership. New cat is scheduled to arrive Feb 26th. Jeep went in on Jan 10th. Almost 2 months by the time it gets installed. My jeep is at the dealer so hopefully they get to it quick.

Re: Any future planned changes to DEF system?

If anyone here is looking for a crash-course in diesel emissions systems, here is an excellent presentation by an Amsoil guy. He clearly explains the differences between the DPF, EGR, and DEF systems, and how they affect engine health.

I think a large chunk of the consumer confusion comes from most dealers not having a working understanding of these seperate systems themselves...

Re: Any future planned changes to DEF system?

So does our 2014+ diesel have an injector just in front of the DPF for our regen cycles or does it use the exhaust stroke injection system that leads to fuel contamination in the oil?

Our L630 DOHC uses exhaust stroke injection (aka post-injection)
