Anyone know how mileage works on the buy back. I am going through it now. Waiting on my call. I was told they pay me MSRP for my Jeep. Plus any add on items we have done to it. What about sales tax and fees?

Anyone have a successful buy back?

My sales tax and fees are covered by Chrysler. As far a mileage goes I believe they cover any thing under 12k miles during the first year. That's what I was told anyway. Beyond that I'm not sure what they deduct for mileage. I believe they only deduct for the mileage you put on before you began to have issues.

MSRP is being offered for my replacement vehicle as well, unfortunately the MSRP has gone up $400 in my case so I'm hoping Chrysler will decide to cover that as well.

The actual laws are state-specific. You may wish to search online for your state's lemon laws.

previous response was right , they will deduct for mileage put before first complaint was made. You will get MSRP plus tax,license,doc fees and additional extended warranty if one applies, also you may get back any add on's like alarm or after market items it just depends on how the lemon law applies in your state.

I went though this with Toyota last year here in California, I got every penny back except mileage depreciation which in my case was about $400.00.

Anything that they don't reimburses you for, just take off and sell or keep if you doing a replacement vehicle like what u have.

Well - to close on this - it took me until this afternoon to actually hand over the keys and pick up my check. Damn that took a long time.
