I honestly was tired from today and just drove it the 4 miles home ( hilly) but didn't check the shifting. I will do so tomorrow and report back
Doing a relearn on the trans won't change the hard coded trans tune. I wish you had to have a little bit of vehicle knowledge to work at a dealer. They are all morons.

Did they do the adaptive training or did you drive it away after the reset. There is a specific driving procedure that is outlined in one of the TSB docs I have. I have no doubt the adaptive learning is wonky and seems to change over time but mine did improve after I did a TCM reset and immediately performed the prescribed driving sequence.

Yeah they preform the quick version or so they said they did. They drove it 4 miles according to the print out.

The TSB doc I have states that clutch timing is established during adaptive learning. I believe it even states that the 5 to 6 upshift learning is critical. I'm sure the baseline timing values and shift points tables are hard coded like you say.

The coding that doesn't allow low rpm tq won't change... that was my only point

Yep. I caught that after re-reading it. I agree....no way to alter shift points with a reset. Its hard coded.

Yes

But the trip was more to record stuff down. Especially dusting my motor and also making sure they know I'm complaining about the transmission. All these shutters and jerks will/ can ruin the Trans. Bet they hav a huge recall in later years.
