That's great news. Now, what about our undersized air filter?

Any online sources yet? Did a quick search and didn't find any. Maybe a local Baldwin dealer could order them?

Jeep used an undersized air cleaner on the 3.0 eco? Are you saying that a full throttle the vacuum restriction is greater than what is allowed by VM? Please elaborate. thanks

I compared the v6 Pentastar filter to our 3.0 filter and it is physically smaller. Furthermore, monitoring barometric pressure outside vs after the filter shows a ~2 psi drop! I don't know where the internal sensor is located but it is pre-turbo somewhere. Our turbo makes 21 psi at WOT and that is 1.44 times more air so our little motor breathes like a 4.3 litre. Just going by the pressure differential, there are gains to be had...but I am by no means an expert! AFE did show gains with their intake according to what I read. I don't like using lower filtration filters so upsizing seems to be the best option.

Re: Baldwin has our filter

Checked on the web and found the Baldwin website, sent in a RFQ on the filter. Got the response back within a day, $42 each. I can buy the Mopar filter cheaper online from other places. If it had been $15, I might have been interested.
