I don't get it, either. Maybe someone posted an asinine reply that was later removed. It happens on occasion.

Re: Blackstone Oil Analysis 7500 mi

I am comfortable going 10k using Pennzoil since I have 16 qts left.
This is the best vehicle I have owned. That includes a lot of cars which my 1997 M3 BMW was the 2nd best.
Really enjoy driving this!!!

Re: Blackstone Oil Analysis 7500 mi

This might be a dumb question, but the service manager at my dealer said the oil put into the engine at the plant is a synthetic blend, and that I MUST use synthetic blend on my 3.6L from here on out. I'm right around 7500 miles on my jeep so that's why I'm asking in this thread...I figure you guys wouldn't know. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi, just so you know, this is the diesel subforum. Perhaps you should start your own thread in the general WK2 forum.

Any discussion of your question might be misleading for other diesel owners who read this thread in the future. I know I did a double-take before I saw you have a 3.6L.

Me too! Diesel only here please. We don't want to confuse anyone. Thanks.
