Bluetooth Telephone Issue

On my 14 JGC with the 8.4AN system, the telephone volume has to go all the way up (like at 35+) to hear anything over the speakers. It does this with two different Android phones....yet for the radio, XM, and bluetooth Pandora, it doesn't need to be turned up past 20 to hear lots of volume.

Was wondering if it's just my phone, my car, or what? Anyone got some ideas why this is?

Re: Bluetooth Telephone Issue

On mine, a vol of 20 is plenty loud for a BT phone call. The fact it does it with 2 phones is a little troubling. BT loves to act up on devices so I'd suspect the phone but it doesn't seem to be the cause here. I'm assuming your running the latest connect firmware? Other than that, maybe a radio replacement is in order.

Re: Bluetooth Telephone Issue

Doesn't turning up the volume on your actual phone when synced give the baseline for using the stereo volume?

Re: Bluetooth Telephone Issue

I did the reload of the UConnect software (well teh dealer did it) at my last (free) oil change. I played around with the phone a bit and discovered that if I increase the phone volume on the phone itself, then I can lower the volume on the UConnect.
