I have my JGC in my insulated sealed garage and I can smell the diesel engine oil of the Jeep when the garage is closed up. It smells like a tractor is in my garage. I have no oil leaks, was just wondering if their is a breather on the engine crankcase that exhausts to out side air? I don't mind the smell, but the wife thinks it stinks sometimes.

Ya , same situation here. The slight smell reminds me a little of a Greyhound bus. I don't mind though,.... hell I think I even like it .

I think at this point you are smelling the fumes too much! :D

Yeah same here, in the garage...even have the smell in the cabin when driving sometimes, had the filter changed, did a few 100's miles and no smell as of yet!

I've overfilled also and it stinks of diesel at the back half of the Jeep until I wash under that wheel well. What I smell is oil, if you ever changed you own oil on this beast you can smell the engine oil at that time in the garage when it's in the drain pan. It's not as strong right now, but my Jeep still has that oil smell when engine is warm. I really don't mind too much, but it makes the wife turn her nose up from time to time. She never fills the diesel tank either.
