Well in mine, it says:

DIESEL ENGINE: Cylinder Block and all Internal Parts; Cylinder Head Assemblies; Timing Gears and Cover; Harmonic Balancer; Oil Pump; Water Pump and Housing; Intake and Exhaust Manifolds; Core Plugs; Valve Covers; Oil Pan; Turbocharger Housing and Internal Parts; Fuel Injection Pump and Injectors (excluding clogged injectors); High Pressure Oil Pump; High Pressure Oil Rails; Seals and Gaskets.

ENGINE EMISSIONS: Air Pump; Air Supply Hose; Leak Detection Pump; Evaporative System Detector/Monitor; Vapor Canister; Air Injection Valve; EGR Valve; EGR Cooler; Aspirator Tube; Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor; EGR Tube; Purge Solenoid; Knock Sensor; Oxygen Sensor; Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) System.
NOTE: CATALYTIC CONVERTOR AND PARTICULATE FILTER ARE NOT COVERED. (yes, that spelling error is in the contract...)

Since VA law didn't let me Lemon Law it, they offered me this olive branch. Its a $0 deductible, unlimited mileage/duration policy, but it is non-transferable. As I say, I am not sure this is something one can buy since I got it through extraordinary circumstances.

However, since some of you here had me worried, I went back to check it I am now quite nervous. Page 1 says lifetime maximum care blah blah blah but on Page 2 it says "Eligible Vehicles: FCA US Vehicles (excluding...diesel equipped...) and later "The following are NOT eligible for a Vehicle Protection Plan: ...Vehicles equipped with a diesel engine...".

So now I'm wondering if they gave me a plan that in its own terms is void. I mean can't Chrysler see that the VIN its assigned to has a Diesel engine? Further perplexing me is why on Page 3 they list all of the diesel engine parts covered under the plan. Why list them if no vehicle equipped with a diesel engine are covered under this plan? Starting to feel like this isn't worth the paper it's printed on...

Going to write a letter and get a written response. I don't trust the 1-800 telejockies to give me the correct information or have that phone conversation hold up when I take it in for service...
You did well if they issued you the lifetime with $0 deductible for free, that's an expensive service contract. lifetime is not available for diesel under normal circumstances. However this was a special circumstance and if you have paper work stating you have the mopar maxcare lifetime and it has your specific vin number attached to it then you should be alright. the disclaimers are for a standard customer and they are canned disclaimers they put on all of them. I would think you would be an exception to this. wouldn't make much sense to issue you a maxacre lifetime for mechanical and exclude the engine. Get a written response like you are planning, people have short memories and you don't want questions when you try to collect on it several years from now. Again good job on getting the free $0 deductible out of them, go look up the going price on that and you will be happy let alone you got it on a diesel. Mine has been in 19 times in the last 2.5 years for non maintenance items and all I got was a 5 cent key chain. The fuel door literally fell off last night when gassing up so I guess it will be an even 20 times back to the dealer. Good luck

I paid about $2,500 for my lifetime maxcare in my 2015 Summit v6. I wouldn't buy from the dealer

Yes, and remember that the Maximum Care is a matter of exclusions, so that list you have was "including, but not limited to". I haven't seen any "max care horror stories" on forums: people seem to be satisfied with Mopar Max Care unlike those third-party scam "warranties" dealers try to shill.

Yes, but those parts are covered by the 0 deductible 8 year/80k mile emissions warranty.

From my perspective, because a diesel max care service plan lasts at most 8 years/120k miles, people would only potentially come up short on a DPF failure if their vehicle had >80k and <120k miles in under 8 years, because after 8 years or 120k miles the max care contract has expired anyway and *nothing* is covered.

Besides, that would be my excuse for a DPF delete (haha).
