Yes, but it was an expensive fix. The dealership had not dealt with this code before so it was a learning curve for them at my expense. There are four sensors that monitor exhaust. The one that caused the code is between the top of the transmission therefore the trans has to be dropped down to a degree to service. That was done, the sensor was replaced and that took care of it, right? Wrong! The code would still not clear. At that point the mechanic told me he consulted with Jeep and wound up replacing all four sensors plus blowing out the DPF (absolutely the wrong way to clean it) with an air hose.
Anyway, parts were about $400 and labor for all that was $1,300. The mechanic felt like I would ultimately have to purchase a new DPF which was between $2,000-$3,000. I haven't had recurring problems since then and have checked into having the DPF professionally cleaned when the time comes which is much cheaper than new.
