Re: DEF INJECTOR and Harness protection group buy

Im not even sure on that aspect. I bought mine with out all the skid plates as i always make my own. Post some pics and ill tell u if it does or not.

But i believe the oem skid plates replace all that other cardboard plates, so if it does im about 99% sure it will work.

Re: DEF INJECTOR and Harness protection group buy

And really. Its not that big. It covers the harness that goes under the frail rail and also protects the actual injector breaking off. As well as has a shield between dpf and injector area to help with radiant heat from dpf , say when in regen mode

You need to make certain it works with the skid plates.

DEF INJECTOR and Harness protection group buy

Well buy me them skid plates then. But from all the plates and all the jeep grand cherokees ive been under , the plate im making does not interfere with it at all.

And from looking at the oem " real" skid plates. It looks like they are metal versions of the stupid cardboard versions.

Dom, here are some pics of my ORA2 underside. Maybe this can help you determine if there is interference with skid plates.

DEF INJECTOR and Harness protection group buy

Thanks. That was fast. Yeah i dont see any issues with it fitting up nicely. Can u take me another pic from the side of of jeep. Basically the view if u were just kneeled over and taking the shot from passenger side door.

And again. Im pretty sure it will fit with no issue. I see the only real skid plate on the off road package is not even near where my plate will bolt up. Also i see one of those card board plates like mine exactly where mine is at. My plate utilizes one of those bolts. Again pretty sure we are gonna b on point. Anyone in socal want to come over so i can test fit my current prototype? Ill giv u the plate for my cost, which will save u $30-40

Its all good.

I am confirming that it will fit even if u hav " real " oem/ factory skid plates from offroad packages.

I took my prototype to the dealer and layed under a few of them and can put it up against where it will mount and there is nothing in the way .
