Re: Diesel Lag

HSA works just as well when going up hill as I've had it hold the jeep while I had the trailer on several times. Nice feature to have (used to it in my Subarus).

This is very common on all diesels. I also had the same issue with my 2005 Dodge Cummins. Yes... had the same issue. I installed a Throttle Sensor adjuster from BD diesel Performance on my Dodge and eliminated the issue.

Once I took delivery of the new JGC, I waited two weeks before I could not resist getting one for my Jeep. Installation took about 10 minutes, and she was ready to test drive. The Throttle Sensor has (3) settings.. stock, 50% and 100%. Basically, do you want stock, mild, or wild. Since I am the primary driver, I set it to the 100% setting. This little box, really make the Jeep rip. Really amazed at the difference it makes.

All that this device does to connect into your throttle and advances the throttle sensor accordingly. Simple... dealers cannot detect it, therefore, it does not void your warranty.

I let my neighbor drive it (Local Dodge Dealer Manger) to see the difference, and he was amazed. He said that it almost felt like the Hemi. Since installing, I lost about 1 MPG in the city, and have the same on the highway.

Anyway..... really love this thing and wanted to be sure to share with the group. See BD Diesel Performance dieselperformance.com for the Throttle Sensor Booster. You will not be disappointed.
Zombie thread to ask if others have tried this throttle sensor adjustor and how well it works?
