Does anybody know if there is a diesel tech in denver? I am thinking about getting the heads replaced. Definitely have the symptoms. Not sure now or later is better.

There is a small Diesel engine tech at Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton. My Jeep is there now getting the cylinder heads replaced. If you ask the service writer, you could probably talk to him personally. He talked to me when I had the catalytic converters changed. I think he has about 15 years of experience.

Awesome, thank you so much. Haven't felt much of the symptoms since I have been hitting the mountains but I plan on taking this in after winter.

I notice the symptoms when it is around 65 - 80 degrees. Had no symptoms all winter, then they came back in the spring. Therefore, you might as well wait until April or May.

Josh, the Diesel tech at Johnson, gave me the rundown on the new cylinder heads yesterday when I picked up the Grand Cherokee. The tab ran around $5,200 for Chrysler. He said the reprogramming ran the engine too rich, then too lean and there was a lot of buildup on the cylinder heads and some other parts. He thinks they have it right now. Only time will tell!

Seems like he did a good job. Hopefully he is still working there when my time comes around.

Thanks!

Did they give you a loaner? I have the code for P20EE, and they're saying they can't bring me in for a month to do the diagnostic so they can order the parts..... Sounds a little ridiculous....
