Doing Maintenance, few questions...

Hey all! 2015 Model..

Changing oil and filter and adding a quick drain valve today.

So, I was removing the filter and knocked a cap or something off and can't seem to find it, was hoping someone could post a picture of what theirs looks like so I can find it easier.

Also, while digging around trying to find it, found this 2 foot or so plastic piece just lying on the lower engine tray (best way to describe the area).

Any clues as to where this was supposed to be from factory?? I had it serviced once at Allen Samuels here in Katy, and will never take it back to them for other reasons. But that is another story

Thanks all!!

Here's a picture of the cap you dropped. Good luck.

Not sure about the plastic piece, but that cap is just a dust cap for the A/C service port. It's not critical for operation but it's probably a good idea to get a new one. It's a standardized connector type so you might even be able to get one at a parts store for much less than the dealer.
