He has EGR Blanking Plates, DPF delete and a Intercooler Kit with new Stainless Piping that deletes all the extra rubbish including the canister.

Not affilliated in any way.

Those products look great. It should be also be mentioned here that such products require an appropriate EGR+DPF+SCR delete PCM tune (not included) in order to use them.

Looks nice. I'd like to hear some personal experiences about this kit before I'd buy any of the products.

Haha, given that the EGR/DPF/SCR delete PCM tunes that are a prerequisite to run these hardware components currently cost $1200 - $1300, perhaps this vendor projects the market will bear these prices.

Guess the market will impact the price. I've not seen another manufacturer offer such a kit. Supply and demand play a role in pricing...as well as concerns about a potential run in with a certain federal agency. It's nice to see he's using 304 stainless rather than aluminized steel. It will stay looking like new for a very long time.

If it's too expensive for folks....maybe someone will come out with an aluminized steel version. It's always nice to have options....but the 304 is pretty nice looking stuff for an exhaust.

I wonder if the straight pipe will need tuned dampers like the original exhaust has (c.f. the pics from the vendor's site). The Banks DPF/SCR-back exhaust has caused a lot of trouble with vibration because it's missing some.

Adding the mass isn't the issue, but rather knowing how much/where to attach it to alter the resonant frequency appropriately.

Re: EGR Blanking Plate, DPF Delete Kit and Intercooler with Piping Available

It appears that CB is using pipe that looks to be very similar in diameter to that of the OEM equipment being removed. I've done two pickups....both with four inch ( Stock diameter ) and experienced very minimal / if any "Droning." Guys that step up to five inch, especially without a straight through muffler, seem to experience droning at highway speeds. Of course this is not the same application......so the first person that does this mod would have to comment on their results.

I've had CB Engineering DPF delete on my previous diesel Jeep (WK CRD) in conjunction with GDE Eco Tune and it transformed a great vehicle into an incredible one. It is pricey but was very well made and fit like stock.

From the photos...it looks like it fits very well. And I really like him choosing 304 stainless.....no worries with that material for those of us that drive in snow/salt conditions. Good to hear of your experience...thanks for sharing.

I would be interested in one of the DPF delete pipes but US600 and get to australia would make it pretty expensive unfortunately.

We can get a nice DPF back exhaust ere currently but no DPF delete which would be great. The link attached also does an intercooler that is bigger than the CB one but it appears it doesn't come with hot and cold side piping.
