I'd run some Diesel additives also US diesel is known to be lacking lubrication

Hot Shot's Secret - The Original Stiction Eliminator tend be a good brand from what ive seen across the forums

Jetta TDI's had High pressure fuel pumps grenade because of crappy diesel also.

So after everything she's back to purring like a kitten except that the dash check engine light still remains. Anyway to reset it? It's on when I first start before the engine is even fully running. However it's running great.

Ok I take it back. My fuel quantity indicator fluctuates between 607miles left and 600 and I just spent an hour on the road. Any ideas?

The Miles to empty is really just an estimate. constantly fluctuates.

Say your avg mpg was 8mpg and filled the tank it would take the amount of fuel x that.

reset your avg mpg and your DTE will change

Got a cheap scan tool or an Autozone near you?
Dump the fault and reset it, then cross your fingers.

I actually have this happen quite a bit. The range will go up on the highway as my MPG climbs. Just going up and down hills can cause this as well due to fuel level measurements changing from the slope.
