Well guys its been a while since ive been here, its also been a while since I did this trip! I will say while the eco-diesel is a blast in the desert, it needs some serious improvements before hitting the rocks!
One get skids! Just do it, dont question it, do it!
two - tires c rated tires are not enough you will tear them apart!
three - sliders are your friends
A little history
I typically wheel a rig with 37" tires so going to 32's is something new to me! Dealing with the lack of clearance is something else and approach angle is another
Edmonton, ALberta to Morrison Jeep Trail in Wyoming!
Cody, Wyoming to Salt Lake City for sliders from Rocky Road Outfitters
SLC to Moab, Utah
Moab, Utah to Denver, Colorado
Denver to Edmonton, Alberta
We decided we wanted to break a couple rules and go do Morrison Jeep Trail with bassically a stock 2015 JGC Overland Eco-Diesel, to my knowledge the first WK2 up Morrison
This trail was gruesome on this poor machine, A my buddy had to drive because he doesnt know how to manage his water intake and had heat stroke so I had to spot most of Morrison on my own
Morrison is beautiful in its own regard its something else to just drive to the trail head!
The hardest part of this trail is the countless back and forth switchbacks due to the Jeeps piss poor turning radius and lack of sliders at the time we had to back up a couple times to re adjust making a for very long day
