Re: Fix for capless filler

I'm in as well. Based on my experience with your DEF Injector protection plate, you might as well plan on me ordering whatever you engineer for our JGC Ecodiesels in the future as well. The quality and workmanship speaks for itself.

Fix for capless filler

Thanks guys. I'm just tryn to finalize the logo on the cap.

The "jeep" and " " fix " will be a lot smaller to where you can barely read it. So basically the smallest it can be engrave. Eco and diesel will be more even in size

Edit photo bucket is being stupid right now.

Re: Fix for capless filler

I'm thinkn the gassers are the same. I took quick measurement of a Durango and it's the same I believe. I'll go to dealer soon with the prototype and check. Sorry be stupid busy. Just got back from San Felipe 250 in Baja. Too much fun. Lol

Re: Fix for capless filler

I thought you had a gasser there,

I just ran out to the shop the 2015 Gasser is much larger on the
inside....1.569, on the 2014 Diesel there was no way the micrometer
would fit in there with the Gasser measurment.

Looking at your photo in post #68 the Gasser does not have the same

Fix for capless filler

Basically what it's going to look like...

So, it will have the finger handle / rag/ paper towel holder, a double o ring setup( outside lip and inner nipple). I doubt anything will get past first o ring. But if it does, chances of it getting past the 2nd is un likely. Also will have the option to add a tether for those that want. I will probably not provide the tether. Last , it will have a magnet built into it to allow one to stick the cap to fuel door.

I'm putting the order In this after noon and will have an exact pricing soon. Everything including material is all USA. Even the magnet.
