Re: Fix for capless filler

Yes I will. We'll have to figure the logistics of that as I've only been shipping to Canada and in states. But should not b a problem.

Re: Fix for capless filler

Trust me. I'm pushing. They got back from anodizing yesterday. And is going back on the drill press so I can fine detail it for sexiness. They will be ready next week. I'll need a few days to get them on the site as well.

Sorry for the delay guys. I live in the fabrication Mecca and the person I happen to use is big time in the suspension industry and he has other ppl in line as well. But getting there. I promise it will be legit.

Dom, there's a bunch of us who have no doubt as to how good this will be. Just make sure you have enough to get thru the first wave. I'm planning on being one of those folks.

I will put in another order for 100 next week as well as a few 100 more def plates. Yikes lol

Modded hornet spray cap doing the job nicely. If you drive in dusty or dirty conditions at all, you need some kind of cover. Picture proof.

Re: Fix for capless filler

Guys, are these caps your putting over 2" or larger? Tried a 2" cap and doesn't fit on much of the flange and could slide off. This is on a 2015.

I'm not sure what the actual diameter is. It was actually slightly tapered and became a little smaller diameter when I cut it down. Without cutting it down, the fuel door could latch, but it held the fuel door away from the body slightly.

On my 2015 (Nov. 30, 2014 build), the cap covers just the inner section of the green ring. It fits snugly on that inner ridge of the green ring and doesn't come off without a solid tug. Also, when I cut it down to fit, I left enough height that the fuel door comes very close to touching the cap (maybe touching just slightly). I figured that would keep it in place somewhat even if it came loose.

Thanks. Must be a bigger cap as 2in pipe cap or typical spray paint caps are too small to get over the first green flange.

I tried 5 or 6 caps from various things I had on hand. The cap from the hornet spray was the only one I had that worked. I think I bought it at Home Depot, but you could probably find the same elsewhere.
