Make it the exact size so you can stick it in the fuel pump handle for those of us who live in states with stupid laws.

I'm not sold on the hole in the cap top, but you could copy ExcursionDiesel's approach and use a "cheater" velcro strip to hold the pump handle... that strip could be stored by threading it into the hole in the cap in Dom's latest design. ExcursionDiesel just leaves his strip stored as a loop nested next to the DEF filler. Either way, velcro strips seem like a good solution.

Yea I bought Velcro after he recommended it. It works well but it's easier using the cap on my ZJ

Well I plan to have a tether so one can't lose it but instead of hanging , there will be a magnet to allow it to stick to door( double stick metal plate , since it's plastic. )

Fix for capless filler

Going to test fit it in the am. For sure I will add a tether and also there will be a magnet that will allow to stick on door.

Re: Fix for capless filler

Hey Dom,

Is this going to replace the flapper???? Also will it
fit a gasser???

We just picked up a 2015 Limited and we still have the
2014 Overland diesel. So you can sell these to the gas
guys.

Re: Fix for capless filler

I'm pretty sure it's the same size. I'll confirm that soon.

As far as replacing the flapper. No. It will plug that area as well as the out side silver area. So it will have double o ring protection. I'm really stocked with my last test fit. Gonna print out another one to confirm size but I should have a billet version in a few weeks.

Thanks guys
